Flour House Cakes & Co. is a home-based 'cakery' & design studio located in Metro Detroit, Michigan. We specialize in bespoke wedding cakes and confections for luxe events.

Our philosophy is simple, good baking takes place in the comforts of the home.

 

The home provides a comfortable place where intimate details can be shared about your special day. We treat every customer like family and our hope is that they will become lifelong patrons of our philosophy and business.

 

All of our confections are handmade with the finest ingredients that are often provided by local farmers and grocers. Since all of our cakes are custom made, we cannot and will not operate as a 'cake mill'. We limit production of our creations so we can guarantee the utmost quality confection to leave our kitchen.

Most importantly, our culinary creations are made in a sanitary and safe kitchen. We operate under Michigan's Cottage Food Law, PA 113 of 2010 and our baking facility is 'certified clean' by our own L. Alexander, who is a trained public health specialist.
