Denise Lillie
The oldest of five children, Denise grew up in the Metro Detroit area and studied Philosophy and Political Science at Michigan State University.

She went on to work for the United States Senator Carl Levin for seven years as a Community Affairs Specialist, where she was able to truly hone her diplomatic, logistic and production skills.
She is the owner of Denise Lillie Engagements and is an industry professional with over 20 years of government, corporate and wedding planning experience.
​
Denise is a very passionate, joy-driven Type A person and loves others who are too! She is known as the Queen of Logistics who helps to keep 'The House' in order.

Maurice Mitchell
A proud native of Flint, MI, Maurice is a devoted dad to three amazing children to which he refers to as his oxygen.
He is a nationally Certified Surgical Technologist-Specialist and loves assisting surgeons in skillful, safe, and life changing surgical procedures.

Maurice is an integral member of the Flour House Cakes team. He has been with us for more than five years and has assisted with every aspect of the business from creative design, cake production to event day coordination.
When he is not deep in flour, you can find him writing books, spending quality time with his children, listening to music, watching movies, or working out-possibly followed by eating a slice of red velvet cake! He is also a passionate advocate for child abuse survivors.

Charity Hope
One of five children, Charity grew up in Griswold, CT and currently lives in her cozy modern-country vibin' home in the city of Providence, RI.
She graduated from RI College with a BSN in Community & Public Health. In the midst of raising her three kids, she built a business photographing an array of amazing people, especially couples.
As the owner of Charity Hope Photography, she is passionate about building authentic connections with clients and believes everyone has an amazing story to tell.
